The Flash season 6 spoilers: Learn more about Nash Wells!
What makes him stand out over some of the others? Well, for starters, this Wells may teeter a little more on the side of cool. Last year’s Sherloque Wells was rather comical, whereas the Earth-2 version (possibly RIP, depending on what happened on the Arrow premiere) was more of a detached genius. This one, however, feels almost like an action hero — he’s not a full-on villain, but he’s not afraid to mix things up here and there depending on the opportunity.
In speaking a little bit more about the man right now, here is just a small sample of what executive producer Eric Wallace had to say via TVLine:
“He’s my favorite since Harrison Wells, the Reverse-Flash of Season 1, because he’s cool. He’s suave…. This is a man of adventure … This is a man who can kind of get in a fight and hold his own, and we haven’t seen a Wells like that.”
While seeing Nash’s new sense of adventure should prove quite exciting, there are some other elements to his story also worth exploring. As Wallace notes, “there’s this completely unexpected side to him, which I will not spoil, that’s just wonderful … He has a secret that will be slowly dripped out in [the first half of the season] … but which will really mess with his mind, literally — that’s a spoiler, right there — in [the second half of the season].” The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover serves as the big divider for this season, as it’s rather hard to set up anything for the second half of the season when there is something that significant to deal with beforehand.
We already know that Cavanagh will be playing another important character in the crossover event in Pariah — someone who will have quite a role to play in the eventual crossover.
