Madam Secretary season 6 episode 5 spoilers: Henry’s big story in ‘Valor’

Madam Secretary season 6 episode 5

Curious to learn more about Madam Secretary season 6 episode 5? This is an installment airing next week entitled “Valor,” and all signs now point to some powerful stuff. It’s also going to give you a better sense of what Henry will be doing within his role as First Gentleman.

If you’ve seen enough Madam Secretary over the years, you are probably more than aware of how the show wants every character to be involved in some way. Yet, if you’ve read a lot of history books, you’re probably equally aware of the fact that it’s hard sometimes for people in the First Lady/Gentleman position. You don’t vote on any legislation, and the biggest thing that you can do is try to offer up some influence. Luckily, it seems like this is precisely what Henry is doing here as he fights for better veteran military health.

We do think that this is one of those issues that a lot of people out there would rally and vote in favor of, really no matter their party affiliation. So why aren’t we seeing it discussed more? The only real response that we can have to that

Below, CarterMatt has the official Madam Secretary season 6 episode 5 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

Valor” – Henry teams up with a Marine veteran to fight for legislation that helps Veterans Affairs provide better mental health care, but he encounters surprising resistance from Vice President Carlos Morejon (José Zúñiga). Also, Senator Hanson (Wentworth Miller) questions Daisy about an arrest in her past, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Oct. 27 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Tom Wopat guest stars as Senator Peoples, Chairman of the Veteran Affairs Committee.

Obviously, this synopsis proves further that Miller is taking on arguably the Big Bad of this season, and someone who is seemingly out to undermine Elizabeth and her whole administration at just about every turn. He may be happy to do, given that it enables him to have even more power and influence down the road. There are politicians interested in doing the right thing, and then some others interested in power. He may be more of an example of the latter than the former.
