Chicago Fire season 8 episode 6 spoilers: Good news for the firehouse!

Chicago Fire season 8 episode 6 is an installment airing on October 30, and after a lot of hardship, there could be good news in it! Yet, we’re also still looking at one here called “What Went Wrong” … so it’s probably smart to cool off the jets a little at the same time.

So what’s happening from start to finish here? Well, the firehouse itself may be granted something welcoming, at least if the official synopsis below is to be revealed:

10/30/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Cruz and Severide suspect foul play when a fire started by an elderly woman turns deadly. Kidd, Foster and Brett create a women’s-only lounge. Firehouse 51 celebrates some good news. TV-14 L

We’re going to ahead and assume that the firehouse’s good news doesn’t have anything to do with the lounge … mostly because that feels a little bit too obvious at the moment. Also, we can only imagine the lounge battles that are going to come out of this, as Mouch likes to take ownership of almost everything lounge-related at all times. Yet, we think the guys are going to realize how much they miss having the women around … just as the women are going to realize how much they miss the men.

As for the actual fire-related storyline within this episode, we’re going to have a chance to see Cruz step up in an exciting way. Following what happened at the start of this season with Otis, we do think that there is room for Cruz to explore a lot of new avenues within the firehouse … let alone some of the relationships, as well. This will be a season that is about finding himself, at least within the parameters of work and in his personal life. That’s why we are still rooting for good things between him and Chloe after everything went so south in the crossover.

Even though the big event is now over, let’s consider this all the evidence that you need that Chicago Fire will be just as eventful as ever. There are a lot of stories still left to tell throughout the rest of season 8.
