Blue Bloods season 10 episode 5 spoilers: Eddie investigates a cult!

Blue Bloods season 10 episode 5 is the last episode before Halloween, and while we don’t foresee the CBS series going all-out to embrace the holiday, they may find a few Easter eggs. (Or, since this is Halloween, should we use Jack-o-Lanterns as an analogy instead?) While some of the storylines that you’re going to see during “The Price You Pay” feel fairly standard for the series, others do teeter on the more-surprising. Take, for example, learning a little bit more about Eddie investigating a cult!

While it may not appear that way at first, that is Vanessa Ray in the photo above! A part of the fun with undercover storylines is to see different looks for some of the characters — and we gotta think that something similar can be said for the actors themselves. There has to be something fun about getting able to play your original character playing someone else. There’s something quite meta about it — and this storyline also gives Eddie and Erin a chance to collaborate. Isn’t that something to look forward to?

“The Price You Pay” – Frank works to vindicate Detective Douglas McKenzie (Mike Carlsen), a detective accused of using excessive force. Also, Danny and Baez track down the killer responsible for the death of a rapper’s bodyguard; Jamie is skeptical about a relationship between Espinoza (Luis Antonio Ramos) and a new rookie officer, Sarah Brooks (Lily Brown); and Eddie goes undercover to help Erin investigate a mysterious cult, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Oct. 25 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The other major storyline of note to us right now is Jamie’s, mostly because there’s a suggestion here that he could be looking into a possibly-controversial relationship. Yet, in doing this, will Jamie be viewed as a hypocrite? We do think there are clear differences between his past with Eddie and what’s going on here, but when confronted, will Officer Brooks and Espinoza feel that way, provided they are together? Probably not.
