Magnum PI season 2 episode 5 spoilers: Halloween hijinks

One way or another, Magnum PI always finds a way to make us feel something. A lot of times, it’s an opportunity to have a few laughs over a mission that starts simple and ends in explosion fashion. At other points, we feel our heart pumping out of our chest due to an action sequence, or we’re getting teary-eyed over one of the show’s more vulnerable moments. No matter what you’re talking about, this is a show that delivers … and that’s without throwing in various holidays.

Next week, Magnum PI season 2 episode 5 is going to be your Halloween episode! What does that mean? Think in terms of costumes, scary moments, and apparently, Higgins and Rick desperate to proclaim that ghosts are a myth. Maybe they won’t see any spirits, but we have a feeling they’ll deal with a few scares over the course of the hour. Magnum PI has a long history of great Hawaii Five-0 Halloween episodes to live up to, but we gotta say we like the ambition that they’re bringing to the table!

Below, CarterMatt has the Magnum PI season 2 episode 5 synopsis with some other news as to what’s coming:

“Make It ‘Til Dawn” – On Halloween, Magnum and Jin (guest star Bobby Lee) search for a skip-tracer at a Halloween bash, just as Katsumoto tracks an escaped killer who is headed to that same party. Also, Higgins and Rick must spend the night at an allegedly haunted house in order to debunk the notion, and TC and Kumu protect a sacred Hawaiian burial ground, on MAGNUM P.I., Friday, Oct. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There’s going to be a lot of fun within this hour, but we’re also intrigued just by some of the interesting character pairings that we’re getting to see here. Take, for example, the idea of TC and Kumu spending most of the hour together; or, Magnum and Higgins being separated and spending some time with other people. This is Lee’s second appearance as Jin in just the past several weeks, so we’re also left to wonder if he is a face we will be seeing popping in and out of this world a little bit more often.
