Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode 5 spoilers: Bailey’s pregnant!

Interested in learning a little bit more about Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode 5? This is an installment entitled “Breathe Again,” one where things for Meredith could go from bad to worse. She’s already spent a ton of time away from the hospital, and moving forward, she may be in trouble for missing community service. It’s possible that Meredith has a good reason for it, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the judge will listen.

Meredith has a court hearing after skipping out on community service, while Bailey and Jo have a patient that Jo realizes is from the treatment facility. Richard and Gemma grab breakfast together and things go awry.

For Jo in this episode, the value is going to be getting a chance to learn more about what happened while she was in treatment, and getting a larger understanding of that world. We got little pieces of it back during the premiere, but the writers opted to progress time throughout that episode rather than spending a lot of time on any one thing. This could be a great chance to catch up with the story, and present some story that could be powerful or at the very least interesting. A lot of it is going to depend heavily on what sort of relationship Jo had with this woman during her time in treatment.

Finally, let’s just hope that Webber doesn’t find a way to cause even more trouble for himself — he’s definitely done a lot of this already.

Update: We learned tonight that Bailey is pregnant! Isn’t that a big twist to shake things up?
