Outlander video: Sophie Skelton’s favorite episode is no surprise
Today, we come bearing something new in the form of Sophie Skelton’s own favorite episode — which we don’t think is going to surprise too many people out there. In the video HERE, the actress proclaims that her favorite installment is “The Birds & the Bees” from season 4 — and we know that this is a favorite for many of you out there, as well! It brings you the fantastic meeting between Brianna and Jamie, plus the Bree – Claire reunion and a lot of powerful scenes. This is an installment that runs the gamut. You have Bree still dealing with the trauma of what happened with Stephen Bonnet, but then at the same time also her having these moments where she’s getting to know her father. It’s an episode worth re-watching over and over again and Sophie is brilliant in it.
For those of you who do love seeing Skelton alongside Balfe and Heughan, we imagine that there will be opportunities aplenty in season 5! This is going to bring the Fraser family closer than ever as, every step of the way, we’re going to have a chance to see and experience a number of their collective highs and lows. Fraser’s Ridge is going to evolve into more and more of a community and through that, we’ll see more interactions.
As for Brianna herself, season 5 offers up an opportunity for her role at the Ridge to be more clearly defined. Given that there are no modern conveniences present, everyone will have to do their part in order to pitch in.
This weekend’s Outlander marathon starts Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on Starz with Heughan’s favorite installment.
