Stumptown episode 5 return date for Cobie Smulders, cast
Let’s unfortunately kick off this article with some bad news — whether it be due to World Series competition or something else, ABC is not airing a new Stumptown next week. They certainly could’ve opted to do so, given the fact that there are no new episodes around it — suffice it to say, the opportunity for them to do so was almost certainly there! (Other than Modern Family and this show, every other program airing on the network next week is new.)
Luckily, the hiatus will not be an altogether long one as you will have a chance in order to see Cobie Smulders and the rest of the cast back for more when we get around to Wednesday, October 30 — what better way to ring in the day before Halloween? Even if there isn’t a specific Halloween theme to the episode, there could still be some interesting, creepy stuff that goes down. Also, Dex is going to work towards advancing her position — and becoming more of an official PI than before:
For some more news on what’s coming, we suggest that you check out the official Stumptown episode 5 synopsis below:
Despite being ordered by Lieutenant Cosgrove to take time off, Hoffman enlists Dex’s help to investigate a case. Meanwhile, Tookie’s culinary skills come in handy at Bad Alibi, and Dex stresses over an interview to become a certified PI.
We hope that over the next two weeks, there are some more viewers out there that discover Stumptown and want to dive into it — this is a show that feels like it should have a rather-large audience. Granted, we said the same thing about Whiskey Cavalier last spring. Both are shows that encompass a wide array of genres and also have a great lead at the center of them. We know that ABC’s got a lot of belief in Stumptown based on the promotional campaign that it got — we just have to see if it turns into something more for the show when the ratings continue to come in.
