Blue Bloods season 10 episode 4 sneak peek: Jamie & Erin’s situation

Blue Bloods season 10

On Blue Bloods season 10 episode 4 airing on CBS this Friday, Jamie and Erin are going to be forced to ask themselves a delicate question — did a friend of Frank’s actually commit murder? If so, how do they go about the investigation? The victim was the friend’s terminally ill wife, and that of course raises all sorts of questions as to why someone would elect to do something so heinous in the first place.

Yet, in the sneak peek, Erin and Jamie both seem to agree that Frank’s friend is a suspect; yet, there are questions as to how to go about bringing him in when the Commissioner’s office has taken such a direct interest in the case. Frank wants to take on this case from his own perspective, and obviously it’s hard for anyone else to confront Frank over it.

From Jamie’s perspective, it makes a little more sense for Erin to handle this an take on Frank. After all, she’s a prosecutor! Isn’t this what the prosecutor is supposed to do? Sure, but in Erin’s words, sometimes there are lines are hard for someone to cross … even someone like her. In her mind, it actually makes more sense for Jamie to confront Frank over everything. Why? She feels like in terms of ideology, he has more in common with Frank than any of his other kids. He can get through to him and allow him to see some other viewpoints.

In the end, there’s one thing that we know for sure — Frank is a hard guy to convince of different things. This going to be a tough case, one about understanding motives and also changing perspectives. Luckily, if anyone could get through to someone like Frank, it’s probably going to be someone with Reagan in their last night.

Do you feel for Jamie and Erin entering Blue Bloods season 10 episode 4?
