Is Sami Gayle leaving Blue Bloods, Nicky character in season 10?
So why wonder this? It has a LOT to do with the events of tonight’s episode, as it was revealed that Erin’s daughter was heading off to San Francisco for a job interview. It was one for an important company, one that could allow her to do some very important work — funded by some sort of tech billionaire, of course. This is a gig that would cause her to be away from the Reagans and the world that she has known, and at the moment, there’s no verification if it’s going to happen or not.
Regardless, this would be a big change for the CBS series. While Sami Gayle isn’t always featured on Blue Bloods separate from family dinner, she’s been a longtime component of the series. She’s offered up a lot of commentary at dinner and a few times a season, she gets a chance to have a storyline of her own.
Yet, let’s also remember this — there is no guarantee that she’s leaving the show or getting this job just yet. Also, there is no confirmation at the moment that Sami Gayle is leaving the show or the Nicky character — it’s just something to store away in the back of your mind for the time being. If she does go, we’d miss her — but it makes sense for young people to move on to other parts and phases of their lives. People always do want to try new adventures, and even if she does go, there is always a chance that she finds her way back home.
