This upcoming November episode is going to be titled “A Bloody Brilliant Plan,” and we imagine that there’s going to be a lot of comedy within this! Jones is one of those actors who can do comedy quite easily, even if he does have that sort of tough-guy appearance you see on shows like this so often. (Remember for a moment here that he was on Galavant, one of the most underrated shows out there.)

“A Bloody Brilliant Plan” – The NCIS team reluctantly aligns with two former criminals from England, Ricky Dorsey (Vinnie Jones) and Frankie Bolton (Steve Valentine), after a powerful arms dealer kidnaps Ricky’s daughter in an attempt to obtain a dangerous weapons system, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Nov. 3 (9:30-10:30 PM, ET/9:00-10:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Obviously, teaming up with one-time criminals is not something that the NCIS: LA team loves to do, but if interests align, why not go ahead and do it? We almost wonder if this case will be a foundation more than anything else for some more work for these characters down the line. One of the things that we’ve certainly come to realize after covering this show for so long is this: They love to re-use various actors if they appeal to viewers the first time around. On the surface, it feels like Ricky and Frankie are going to bring a different energy than some of the standard NCIS: Los Angeles recurring players; they could cause a little bit of trouble for the team moving forward in ALL sorts of different ways.
