NCIS season 17: Maria Bello praises co-stars, crew in touching post
In a new post on Instagram (see below), the actress does her best to praise a number of her different co-stars, producers, and crew members while also talking about how the CBS series has been able to stay on the air for so long. These are people who start filming in July and end in May, and along the way they sometimes work extremely long hours and at odd times of the night. While the money may be good, it’s not an easy job and it requires good people to be able to keep it going. Everyone in the photo below seems elated to be there and legitimately enjoys one another’s company. (We don’t think there is anything scandalous in David McCallum not being there — he’s not in every episode, so he’s not often around for some of the cast functions.)

This post does also sound very positive in terms of Bello’s own future on the show. She originally signed a three-season deal when she first signed on and while this post can’t be used as proof of anything, the fact that she enjoys this job does make us hopeful that she will consider being there for many years to come. She has a fantastic character in Jack Sloane, and that is independent of whether or not she and Gibbs end up being in a romantic relationship.

Meanwhile, let us know in the comments how much you’ve enjoyed having Maria Bello as a part of the NCIS family, and if you would be more than thrilled to see her stick around for some time coming up. (Photo: CBS.)
