Stumptown episode 4 spoilers: Dex vs. a real-estate mogul

Curious as to what’s going to be coming up on Stumptown episode 4 when it airs on ABC? Be prepared for an episode loaded through all sorts of drama. After all, Dex is facing one of the biggest threats that we’ve seen over the course of the season. Think in terms of a wealthy real estate mogul, the certain person who would probably be down to threaten her at any given moment. He’s the sort of character who could make someone sweat … or at least most people. Dex is not most people and that may help her here.

Dex faces off against Artie Banks to take down wealthy real estate mogul Randall Tapper. Meanwhile, Detective Cosgrove leads an investigation to find Wallace Kane, a prisoner on the loose.

Through just a few episodes of the show, one of the things that we’re already starting to get a good sense of is that Stumptown is a series that has a great sense of humor. It’s also one that has some smart cases and plenty of edge. Sure, there are a lot of private-detective shows out there with memorable characters, but we don’t know if any of them have the same exact style and substance that we’re getting a chance to see here.

When it comes to the ratings, there is a slight cause for optimism at the moment. After all, the numbers in the 18-49 demographic were fairly similar from the first week to the next for Stumptown. If the show is able to keep that up, you would think that it could have a rather long stay on the air. For now, we at least know that ABC has a lot of belief in the show — they promoted it heavily and it does have a star who can be marketed all over the world.
