FBI season 2 episode 4 preview: Did the Bureau make a past mistake?

Next week’s FBI season 2 episode 4 is going to prove itself to be an important hour of television — especially in terms of showcasing some of the failures that can happen to people within the Bureau. We’d love to say that, week in and week out, every single case was handled perfectly. That’s just not possible. There are going to be errors and missteps aplenty and all you can really do is be preparedfor it.

So within this episode, the FBI will have to backtrack and realize their mistakes ignoring some threats that were dangerous to the community. They will have to reconcile the fact that they could have done something a little bit differently … but they opted not to when the dust settled.

“An Imperfect Science” – After a shooting at a nightclub, it appears that the FBI may have ignored previous threats from a local white supremacist group. Also, Kristen wrestles with her commitment to the Bureau and her responsibility to her community, on FBI, Tuesday, Oct. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Before this episode comes to a close, we have a feeling that the FBI team will have a chance to undo some of their previous mistakes … though there’s no way to just forget about them. You have to figure out a way in which to learn from what happened and be a little bit better the next time.

Is there a way in order to connect what is going on here to what is transpiring in the world today? We don’t think it’s that hard to draw those connections, especially in a society where not enough people take every threat presented to them seriously. There is a lot of misdirection and a lot of threatening posts on social media that end up just being a lot of people desperately seeking attention. You have to figure out a way to parse through all of the threats in order to tackle the right ones — and you need to learn from some of the errors that you made previously.
