The Flash season 6 episode 3 spoilers: ‘Dead Man Running’

With every single episode of The Flash comes another opportunity to push the story forward towards Crisis on Infinite Earths. The epic crossover event is coming at the end of the year and with that, there is an extreme amount of danger for one Barry Allen. He knows what is coming per the newspaper headlines and through that, he has to recognize the mortality that he has at stake.

Beyond just that, he also has to prepare some other Central City heroes to take care of the townspeople following his impending departure. All of this will prove to be a focus for “Dead Man Running,” which is the third episode of the season airing on October 22. Within this hour, we’re going to some drama, some mystery, but then also some personal discoveries, as well.

GET READY FOR A KILLER PARTY – Knowing that Crisis is only weeks away, Barry (Grant Gustin) prepares a member of Team Flash for life without him while hunting a terrifying meta-human with an unquenchable thirst. Meanwhile, Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) uncovers a family secret. Sarah Boyd directed the episode written by Lauren Barnett & Thomas Pound (#603). Original airdate 10/22/2019.

So what sort of family secret could be out there for Ralph? Leading into this episode, this could be a way to kick-start everything for him. We want there to be an epic story for every single character in season 6, especially with the way that there were some characters left out in terms of major screen in season 5. Cisco tended to move in and out of the story last year, and he was far from the only one.

We’ll be the first to say that The Flash has a ton of important stuff to address through its upcoming episodes — think along the lines of Barry’s impending “death,” the new villain Bloodwork, and other possible aftereffects of Crisis. Yet, in the process of all of this long-term superhero drama, don’t forget about everything that got you here in the first place.
