NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 3 spoilers: Kilbride returns!
Remember Kilbride? If you think back to the first half of season 10, you’ll probably recall him being one of many different people who played the role of temporary boss when Hetty was away. He, Ochoa, and even Rogers to some extent filled this role but with Hetty having more of a consistent presence this time around, you don’t have to worry about that anywhere near as much.

Below, CarterMatt has the official NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 2 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming:
“Hail Mary” – Callen and Sam run protection detail for retired Navy Admiral Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) in an operation to locate a missing Naval intelligence officer, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Oct. 13 (9:30-10:30 PM, ET/9:00-10:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
It’s clear at the moment that CBS isn’t too keen on giving you other details on Deeks, Kensi, or any other characters who are going to be a part of the story moving forward. We wouldn’t take this to be a sign that there are no other characters taking part in this story; we’ve seen NCIS: Los Angeles do this sort of thing before, so we’ve sort of grown accustomed to the way in which they tend to keep most of their finer details under wraps.
Following this episode, there are some other things to look forward to. Take, for example, getting a chance to see the return of the USS Allegiance! There’s no sign that either Mac or Harm will be back, but there is still a lot of other interesting discussion to be had.
