SWAT season 3 episode 2 spoilers: Shemar Moore, cast in ‘Bad Faith’

What’s coming up on SWAT season 3 episode 2? There is another installment coming up in one week’s time entitled “Bad Faith.” What is that going to bring to the table? Think in terms of an episode stuffed full of action, but also tension between some established faces and some new arrivals.

So what are we learning at the moment about Lt. Lynch? Well, for starters, that she has a lot of uncertainty about the team and the way that they do business. We can’t be altogether surprised that this is the case. Anytime you have a newcomer entering a world like this, you have to be prepared that they are going to come in and stir stuff up. They’ve spent the majority of their career elsewhere and they’re now dealing with someone like Hondo and his crew — an effective team, no doubt, but also one that can be a little bit rebellious. They at times do follow more of their own code.

“Bad Faith” – Lt. Lynch pulls the SWAT team’s focus when the mayor tasks her with enacting a departmental review of the squad right as they pursue the unstable and dangerous fugitive leader of an infamous doomsday cult. Meanwhile, Luca asks the team to invest in his new passion project, a Guatemalan food truck, on S.W.A.T., Wednesday, Oct. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

By the end of this episode, we have a feeling that we’ll get a stronger sense of who Lt. Lynch is, let alone some of what she feels about the rest of the team. We still feel like in due time, she’s going to work in order to get on the same page as everyone else.

Beyond just getting to see this rivalry, SWAT is still going to be SWAT. You’re going to get the action, just as you’re going to see it mixed with some more emotional character character stories. We just hope that all of this shines through in its new timeslot … on a new day of the week.
