Following the premiere, do you want to know what’s coming on Almost Family episode 2? This will be a chance for the story to evolve. Also, it’s a chance in order to see if the show’s audience stabilizes or falls off of a cliff.

We know that Fox has extremely high expectations when it comes to this show. They’re airing it after their big hit in The Masked Singer, and it also has a unique premise — a young woman ends up learning that she has a number of half-siblings. How do you react to that? Where does this story go from here? We imagine that there will be many more surprises; yet, there are also many different setbacks.

Julia is haunted by her new reality, while Roxy embraces it by spending quality time with Leon. As Edie and Tim prepare for their trial, Tim notices interactions between Edie and the prosecutor, Amanda, that make him uneasy. Meanwhile, Dr. Isaac Abadi steps up to the plate at the clinic in the all-new “Related AF” episode of ALMOST FAMILY airing Wednesday, Oct. 9 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (AFM-102) (TV-14 D, L, S)

One of the things that we’re going to have a chance to see unfold throughout this season is how expectation and reality are two different things. You may expect that you know someone based on the blood that you share with them. Yet, they may have gone through SO many different experiences that you don’t even know where to start with the comparisons. If there was ever a real nature vs. nurture debate, we do think that you’re going to find it here and then some.

Next week, we’ll of course be back with more episode details — but then also a discussion of the show’s ratings. It’ll be nice to learn whether or not there is still viability in a major network deciding to put a show after an established hit. In the old days, this used to produce a substantial boost!
