Blue Bloods season 10 episode 2 preview: Prepare for ‘Naughty or Nice’

Following tonight’s big premiere on CBS, are you ready to learn about Blue Bloods season 10 episode 2, a story entitled “Naughty or Nice”? This is an installment that will continue the arcs from the premiere, but also introduce some new elements, as well. Take, for example, the return of Dan Hedaya in the role of Vincent Rella. He may be technically out of the mobster game, but he’s still the sort of character who could prove to be a valuable source still in all sorts of investigations. This includes what we’re going to be seeing Danny and Baez do on this particular episode.

“Naughty or Nice” – Frank and Erin are at odds when Frank learns the D.A.’s office keeps a list of NYPD cops they consider “unreliable.” Also, Danny and Baez recruit retired mobster Vincent Rella (Dan Hedaya) to assist in an investigation, and Jamie participates in a decoy operation to take down a predator posing as a ride-share driver, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Oct. 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

When you look at this synopsis, a lot of it is going to feel like par-for-the-course Blue Bloods stuff, especially when you think about the recent series of conflicts involving Frank and Erin. As the latter continues to rise up the ranks of the DA’s office, that is going to throw her more and more into conflict with her own family, most notably Frank. That could be the sort of thing that makes family dinner awkward, and more than likely it could in the moment. Yet, in the end, though, we’re confident that the Reagans will figure things out. After all, isn’t that their way?
