We’re now a few days removed from the NCIS season 17 premiere, and it’s fair to say that our excitement is through the roof. How can it not be? We’ve got a beloved performer in Cote de Pablo back on the screen alongside an equally-beloved character in Ziva David.
With this information in mind, we are pleased to see yet another TV appearance featuring Cote, with the setting this time around being Rachael Ray.

Within the video below, you can see Cote do her best in order to discuss what the return was like, reuniting with old cast members but also meeting new faces. She had all sorts of great things to say about working with Emily Wickersham and Wilmer Valderrama — two of the people who she didn’t get a chance to work with in the past. This interview aired prior to the premiere, but the first scenes featuring these three together are happening on Tuesday night. We’re curious to see how Bishop and Torres react to seeing Ziva in the flesh; Bishop and Ziva do already have a relationship-of-sorts, but it’s not one where they have had their first face to face moment. As fun as it’s going to be to see Ziva and Torres together, Bishop is the one person out of the new team that’s never met Ziva that we really want to see meet. Bishop had held onto her secret for a very long time, one that was clearly weighing on her and we are curious to see how that will play out in their meeting.
There is a certain degree of content within this interview that we’ve seen before, most notably when it comes to her talking about what it took to get to her set in the first place. There is always something fun that comes with seeing her describe the events leading to her return — there’s a lot of zeal there, and also just the wonderful memories of seeing how the cast and crew were waiting for her. It was a small group there when she filmed her final scene at the end of season 16, and there were some people in there who she remembers fondly from back when she was a part of the series.
Where do you want to see the story from Cote de Pablo go from there?
