In this article, we’re going to discuss some of what Nick Maccarone had to say in his official CBS interview regarding his game, his vote for Jackson, and also what he would change about his game.
Does he think the best player won? – “I have to say yes. Strictly game-level, I thought that he played an amazing game … He’s one of the better competitors in the game.”
What would he change about Taco Tuesday? – “I wouldn’t change anything. I know that I was screaming and yelling, but she was frustrating me and she knew how to get under my skin. She was going to blow up my game the next day in her campaign speech, so I thought if I got ahead of it and defend myself, it would be [the best move] for me.”
What did he learn about himself? – “That I’m human, I guess. I still make mistakes. Even though I feel like I’m a great person, there are still lapses in people’s character. It’s a complete learning experience [being on the show]. It all depends on how you look at it.”
On what he would change about his game – “I definitely shouldn’t have tried to play so hard, so quick. It got myself in trouble with my won alliance and they didn’t trust me. I was still going to be loyal to them until we got to nine, but I played too hard, too quick.”

In the end, we think that Nick isn’t going to be remembered too fondly — he probably thinks he’s much more liked than he is, largely because of what happened with the America’s Prankster twist.
