Big Brother 21 finale: Who won — Jackson Michie or Holly Allen?

Entering the finale, it was pretty clear that Holly and Jackson were going to be the final two pending some last-second miracle where Nicole stayed. That went out the window the moment that Jackson won the final Head of Household Competition. He was never going to evict Holly, as he went to the final two with his showmance.
Holly and Jackson was the final two everyone expected … but who was going to win between the two? That was an interesting debate, since Jackson played the stronger physical and strategic game at times. Yet, he had a poor social game whereas Holly had a good one. She was more under the radar, but she did ultimately whatever needed to be done. Holly sounded a lot more flustered in her final speech, but she also kept running out of time. Jackson was confronted about his comments towards women, which he denied doing. Jackson was also confronted by some people outside the game over some of his actions … but none of that outside stuff mattered when it comes to the vote in the end.
Jackson is the winner of Big Brother 21, but the vote may come with a cost. He won the money, but may very well be one of the most-disliked winners that we’ve seen in recent memory. We may have to go back all the way into Big Brother 9 to find someone more disliked. Yet, he still won and nothing can take that away from him … but we do wonder precisely how some of these jurors are going to feel after hearing about some of what the public thinks after the fact.
It’s a weird season but, in the end, Jackson is the winner. We’ll have more coverage on it soon!
