Legacies season 2 spoilers: Ebboney Wilson brought on to play Kym
According to a new report from Deadline, Speechless actress Ebboney Wilson is on board to play this character in a recurring capacity. What do we know about her? Per the official character description, this character is a “Kym, a fearless, confident and sexy human girl whose meet-cute with MG leaves her curious to know more about his world.”

When you read that description alone, the easy thing to assume here is that she is going to be some sort of long-term love interest for the MG character. That could be fascinating, mostly because you are experiencing another classic case of human/supernatural being relationships. This has been a part of the overall lore of this series since the days of The Vampire Diaries, and we definitely don’t think that this is something that is going to be going away in the near future. We like that — after all, we don’t want to see this element go. There does always need to be a sense of jeopardy that some of the non-supernatural people are going to find out the truth about what’s out there.
Beyond that, here is your reminder that these characters within the world of the show are all still young. It’s so easy to forget about that when you’re looking around at a lot of the stuff that is happening to them. They’re prone to mistakes, and we gotta say the same thing about MG — there are chances that a lot of crazy stuff could happen to him, and that this relationship with Kym ends up not being what he bargained for at all. He needs to go ahead and be prepared for that right now.
