Hawaii Five-0 season 10 premiere sneak peek: Junior, Tani at the opera
In the video sneak peek that we have for you below from Friday’s premiere episode, you can see Junior and Tani enjoy a night at the opera … though maybe “enjoy” isn’t the right word for it. Nonetheless, the two characters enjoy their time there a little bit more than perhaps either one of them would really expect, as they revel in the beauty of the music and the cultural expression.
Yet, they are not there for the sake of frivolity, as they are watching for some sort of criminal activity. That comes with a quiet shooting right in the middle of the performance. At first, it seems like maybe they will be able to embark on an investigation without too much trouble. Those hopes are soon dashed thanks to everything else that is going on. There’s a shootout, and that leads to a panic going down within the opera house itself. Junior and Tani are not only going to have to make sure that the bad guys are taken down, but also that order is maintained at the same time.

We like to think that this sneak peek is scratching the surface for what is going to be an exciting season stuffed full of interesting Junior/Tani storytelling. These two characters have shown to be excellent as partners, but could they be more? There’s going to be an interest there among fans, but we also don’t get the feeling that the writers are in any rush to try and make something happen. Maybe we get there by the end of season 10, or maybe (if there is a season 11) something can happen then. We’ll go ahead and keep crossing our fingers for something more!
