The Blacklist season 7 premiere: New ‘Louis T. Steinhill’ sneak peeks

Leading up to The Blacklist season 7 premiere, NBC has done something that we greatly appreciate — releasing new sneak peeks for what’s coming up!

If you look below, you can check out a couple of previews for what’s coming that offer up some cool insight on what the future for this series could hold — mostly through the lens of Liz Keen. Raymond Reddington is nowhere to be found within these previews, likely as a measure of the producers trying to keep his story a secret for as long as humanly possible. These sneak peeks have been used, at least in part, in other previews — you just get a chance to see them here packaged altogether.

First, let’s discuss Dembe giving Liz a call to clue her in that Reddington has been captured. He is unable to offer much in the way of information about what happened, but he does make it clear that Reddington was alone, making this a more personal mission. This entire ordeal is another reminder that Liz is going to have some work to do if she wants to be able to find him and make sure that he is okay — hence, why she goes to the Task Force for help.

This brings us into the second sneak peek, which is Liz breaking the news to all of the Task Force that Reddington is gone and from there, she spells out everything that she has known and kept from most of them. Take, for example, the fact that she was the one responsible for turning Reddington over to the police in the first place. From there, the discussion turns into her admitting that Reddington is Ilya Koslov … or at least she thinks this because of Dom’s story. Does Liz truly believe that, fully? That is something we still wonder — she may not think it’s 100% true, or she may want to think that it’s true and is convincing herself of this in order to feel a little bit better.
