Outlander season 5: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, and Adso fun!
In a new post on Twitter via Sophie Skelton, you can see one of many different Instagram Stories that she and Caitriona Balfe posted in honor of the cat being a part of the show this season. It’s a celebration of Caturday like no other, though there is also some hard work that is happening there at some point between takes. (Sam Heughan also reposted a fun Instagram Stories video from Lauren Lyle, one where he’s come up with a unique “hanging with a cat” voice.)
So what are we expecting being able to see with these characters, Adso included, this late in the season? We don’t think that the storyline is at this point about just getting the cat integrated into Fraser’s Ridge. Given that Adso has been around before, we like to think that at this point, he’s more of an established part of the community. Given that there are so many actors on set today (including Cesar Domboy), we have to imagine that there are some pretty important scenes being shot.
In the end, let’s be happy that the entire Fraser’s Ridge community is happy to spend their Saturday together! Also, there’s just something so wholesome about seeing them all spend so much time together with Adso, given that some of the actual storylines going on with the show right now may be rather dramatic. The residents of Fraser’s Ridge are after all bracing for an extreme threat of Revolutionary War, one that could lead to extreme danger and the loss of those they love. In the midst of material that heavy, you may as well find some moments for enjoyment!
