Better Call Saul season 5: Should you be worried for Nacho?

Better Call SaulAs we prepare for Better Call Saul season 5, there are of course a plethora of different questions that you should wonder about. What’s one of the biggest ones? The status of Kim Wexler is going to be one, but we’re just as curious about Nacho. This is a fantastic character captured through the first four years of the show, but there are questions aplenty regarding his fate and where his story could venture moving forward.

While at the moment there is still no 100% verification of Nacho’s Better Call Saul future, one thing does feel clear — the journey moving forward for the series overall is going to be spectacular. In a new post on his Instagram, Michael Mando (who plays, of course, the character) indicated that season 5 is “hands down our most special” one that the cast and crew have made so far. Given how awesome the first four seasons of Better Call Saul proved themselves to be, how can you view this as anything other than a ringing endorsement and a sign that there is some more awesome stuff to come?

Of course, awesome does not always equal great things for all characters, and it could mean bad things are coming for Nacho soon. Given that we don’t believe that Better Call Saul has too many seasons left, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould could have to eliminate some characters from the world. That’s why there are reasons to worry about Jimmy and Kim both before the dust settles.
