God Friended Me season 2 episode 3 spoilers: ‘From Paris with Love’

We gotta give it to the producers of God Friended Me — after all, they are determined in order to make the story in Paris into something substantial! The easy assumption going into the premiere was that this was going to be a one-and-done storyline, something that they would address before opting to move things in a more story-of-the-week direction.

Yet, God Friended Me is not your average story-of-the-week show. They’re committing at least three episodes of the season to Paris, as evidenced from the fact that the October 13 episode of the show (the third one in season 2) is entitled “From Paris with Love.” This is a story that will continue to make the city into a hub for possible God Account clues, as well as a test for the Cara/Miles relationship. It also helps to raise this question — how long can you fiddle around with the idea of what you want the two of them to be? Can you keep them from getting together and staying that way? The chemistry is there, but they may still have some stuff to figure out beyond the mission of the God Account.

In New York, Rakesh helps Joy with her latest friend suggestion, Sarah (Monique Gabriela Curnen), a parking officer who just ticketed Joy, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Oct. 13 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/8:00-9:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Scenes from the episode were filmed on location in Paris.

Could this episode mark the end for the Paris storyline? It’s gotta happen eventually and if it is here, let’s hope that Cara and Miles come back to the US with a better sense of where they stand — and also some more God Account clues.
