Supernatural season 15 promo: Sam, Dean’s blasts from the past
As we prepare for the new season, one of the biggest things to expect is made pretty clear from the promo that we have for you below. We’re going to see some blasts from the past! As a matter of fact, we’re going to see many different blasts from the past! This season is going to offer up a chance for the Winchesters and Castiel to potentially square off with almost all of the evil that they’ve put away for much of the series. Because of Chuck’s decision at the end of the finale, they almost have to do something similar to the end of an old-school Mega Man game — go back and battle some of your old foes again.

Given that Sam and Dean have fought hundreds of adversaries over the years, we imagine that trying to pick and choose the foes for the final season will not be an easy task. This is a season about the fate of the earth, and battling to make sure that it doesn’t become overrun. That’s not going to be easy, and that’s without mentioning some other parts of the story. Think along the lines of Jack being in the empty.
We know that the final season will have reprisals aplenty, and we imagine that there will also be a number of great Easter eggs and references to the early days. The only person we’re really not expecting is Jeffrey Dean Morgan, mostly because it feels like we (finally) have some closure on John Winchester. Crowley’s close to the top of the list of the people we want back, mostly because his role in the series’ legacy is so vast.
