‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Sheldon and Amy’s costume debate

In an earlier promo for “The Big Bang Theory” airing on Thursday night, we saw that one Sheldon Cooper was going to be attending a Halloween party dressed in some sort of theme costume with his girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler. The problem? While he was a good boyfriend and dressed up as Andy (of Raggedy Ann fame), he also was wearing a C-3PO costume in the process. (This, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call a compromise.)

Now, we have the first video that actually shows us what led up to this rather hilarious Halloween theme. In the video box below (which comes to us via TV Guide), Sheldon and Amy engage in a pretty exciting debate over just what they are going to wear, and Mayim Bialik’s character really makes it clear why having some sort of a theme costume is really so important to her: she wants to ensure that people now she actually has a boyfriend and is not “making it up.” Out of the options that she gives Sheldon (which also include something that Kim Kardashian is rather familiar with), this is the one that was the most appetizing.

At this point, we’re almost more excited than anything else just to find out who Leonard and Penny are going to dress up as. We already know that Howard and Bernadette are going to Smurfs, and we’re not entirely sure if Raj and his new roommate Stuart really want people to think that they are a couple by dressing up together when every other pair in their group is doing a similar sort of thing.

What do you think about this video, and are Halloween episodes some of your favorites of every show?
