Bachelor in Paradise 2019: Did Tayshia, John Paul Jones break up?

Let’s talk first about the ridiculous — Matt Donald keeping Bri the moden over Sydney, who would’ve been a much better connection for him. Then, there were also some other ones that were kind of sad. Take, for example, the end of things when it comes to Tayshia and John Paul Jones. These two did have a really ridiculous connection and there are moments where it seemed like they were going somewhere … but John Paul Jones is, more than likely, just not the sort of person Tayshia was looking to be with outside of Paradise.
There are some other relationships that persevered, at least through the remainder of the episode. Take, for example, the state of things for Clay and Nicole. They are still together, even though we don’t have a clear indication at the moment as to whether or not Clay really loves her and is ready to be with her. Then, there are also issues aplenty when it comes to Chris and Katie, mostly because Chris has been big-time damaged goods through this franchise and he doesn’t know if he can trust himself. He second-guesses everything and it’s pretty clear that he doesn’t want to hurt Katie and is already afraid of doing so.
Next week is the finale, and we may have a better sense then of which one of these relationships ends up withstanding the test of time. We are rooting for some of these people to get together! We may be cynical at times with some of these people, but we do want there to be legitimate happiness. At the moment, it’s pretty much a sure thing that Dylan and Hannah G are going to be together on the other side of this. It’s hard to picture anything otherwise.
