Killjoys season 5 episode 9 preview: The last before series finale

Are you interested in learning what’s next on Killjoys season 5 episode 9? Let’s start with a reminder that we’re nearing the end … though we wish that we weren’t. There are two more episodes to go and there is a lot of ground to cover. Primarily, a lot of that ground is going to revolve around the quest to stop The Lady … if there is a way to stop her. How can the Killjoy trio pull their resources? Is there a way to actually be able to stop her?

In many typical stories revolving around villains, you get to that point where it seems like most of their plans are starting to come together … and it’s kinda terrifying. Then, you start to get to the other side where it seems like the tension and drama is starting to cool down a little bit. Maybe that is where we are right now.

The Lady’s terraforming plans are becoming a reality, as the Killjoy trio scramble to find a way to defeat her.

By the end of the episode, you better believe that the stage will be set for the series finale, one that should very much feature at the center of it a showdown like no other between Dutch and The Lady. It’s what you want for any final battle — the hero and the adversary, squaring off in super-intense fashion to see who can sit atop the throne. We don’t like to think of Killjoys as that sort of show that is about to depress us mightily, so here’s to hoping that there is an element of peace within the end of the story.

The preview that aired following tonight’s new episode showcased a unification effort, one to try to make sure that there is some sort of fight against The Lady’s efforts. Coming up with a successful plan, though, definitely qualifies for easier-said-than-done territory. It’s great to know that there’s a problem; it’s another thing knowing how to fix it.
