If you didn’t know, the Veto Ceremony yesterday led to Tommy using the Veto on Christie, and as a result of that, Cliff is now on the block alongside Jessica. On the surface, it appears like the end result of the week is pretty clear: We’re going to see Jessica go the Jury House.
Nonetheless, at least she’s not giving up entirely! While she’s not altogether cognizant as to how to stick around, she recognizes that one of the only possibilities that she has of sticking around is trying to go and state her case to Nicole as to why they should go forward in the game together. Her pitch is that Cliff is a big threat, that Nicole won’t win alongside him, Jackson, and Holly, and that she can be a person who she can confide in and work with for some time. She also made it clear that Christie and Tommy are not working with Jackson and Holly … which was pretty terrible for her game. Why? It showed further that Nicole doesn’t have to worry about being double-crossed at the Double Eviction! Not only that, but it also showed that she is probably not a target there and can throw it if she chooses.
The irony here in the end is that Jessica’s attempts to rally Nicole may have led to her feeling more confident about what she has. Meanwhile, we also know that the attempts from Christie and Tommy to rally Holly and Jackson haven’t gone anywhere, either — they’re happy with what they have and it doesn’t seem like they’re altogether to change anything up in regards to their own game.
