Queen Sugar season 4 episode 12 preview: The last before big finale

It feels pretty fair to refer to Queen Sugar season 4 episode 12 as a super-important hour of television. It’s one that sets the wheels in motion for the finale! This episode, entitled “Here,” is the last one before the big finale comes on the air. That one, more than likely, is going to have a lot of stories that it needs to wrap up.

Even in Wednesday’s episode, there is still going to be a lot of movement. How much so? Well, for starters, you’re going to be seeing Nova do her best to see if there is a way to mend some fences … and it’s about time we see some personal growth and attempts at movement here. We’re going to have a chance to see some of this character doing everything that she can in order to change things around — both in terms of Ralph Angel, and then also later on down the road with Violet.

So is she going to find a way to make some of this stuff happen? Let’s just say that the path towards getting what she wants may be easier said than done, especially once you see Violet confront her past in a pretty significant way.

The promo below gives you a good sense as to what’s coming, including emotional moments about Darla’s relapse, an investigation into the fire, and the police taking an active role in getting some answers. There are walls that are closing in and doors that (could) be opening. Given that we don’t know as of yet as to whether or not there will be a season 5, that makes it so that every single moment within this story is going to matter. We’re excited to see all of this play out … but also nervous. Queen Sugar has told enough stories over the years for us to realize that anything can happen.
