Blue Bloods season 10 premiere spoilers: Danny’s fiery mission
He’s in a pretty intriguing place at the start of the season. This is a man who is now considering moving forward in his personal life, while also dealing with his son getting older and his job not getting any easier. There’s still chaos, and the photo above proves it.
We remember when Donnie first filmed this scene earlier this fall, as it was one of the first things that he took on after getting back on set. Talk about a crazy way to come back! While we do occasionally see Danny Reagan out being somewhat of an action hero, you don’t see stunts like this all that often on the show. It does add a certain layer of danger to when they do happen, and it’s also a little bit more realistic at the same time. Just think about it this way: real cops probably don’t rescue people from burning cars on a day-to-day basis. When it happens, it certainly stands out — and we definitely think it stands out here.
As for the second photo, this one features Danny taking on a very different mission. He and Baez are going to be working together in order to solve a case with the help of Maggie, the psychic who we saw last season as played by Callie Thorne. While we know that there are questions out there regarding whether or not she could someday be a Danny love interest, that doesn’t seem to be why she’s here this time around. Rather, she’s in the role of a facilitator, one that is hopefully going to help Danny and Baez do what they do best.
