Big Brother 21: Zingbot arrives; who had the worst zing?

Big Brother 21

Tonight on Big Brother 21a familiar face (or … robot?) paid a visit to the game in Zingot. So, what happened in terms of the zings? Let’s take a look at some of them within.

Holly got a joke about her being an “old buzzard,” Tommy got called out for loving attention a little bit too much, Christie was mocked for her chewing, Jessica for being a “snoozefest,” Cliff for being “voluptuous,” Jackson for being pompous, Nick for having a bad haircut, and Nicole for having more or less no friends.

Were any of these zings great? Not exactly, but there was some element of surprise in how Holly got hit — at first, it looked like it was going to be one towards Nicole and her fear of birds. Giving Nick the bowl for his haircut was kinda funny, but it was really dependent on a memory-wall photo — his actual hair hasn’t been all that bad for a good while now.

The real problem with some of Zingbot’s zings this year is that some were a little bit predictable, and we also don’t think that someone joking about someone’s weight is necessarily that funny. Zingbot can definitely be funny, but sometimes it’s also that part of a Big Brother game that you remember fondly, even if you didn’t love all that much in the moment. We’re glad that he’s there, mostly to just humble some houseguests along the way. Also, he tends to create a lot of paranoia and frustration among the houseguests.

For those who hadn’t heard, Jackson won the Power of Veto — because of that, either Nick or Christie is going to leave the game on Thursday night. It looks like Nick is the target, but anything can happen.
