Hawaii Five-0 season 10 episode 1 spoilers: Katrina Law’s debut & more

Hawaii Five-0 season 10 episode 1 is going to be airing on CBS on Friday, September 27, and it’s the start to what should be a thrilling run of episodes. It could also be a sad one, given that the first details coming in suggest that there will be a goodbye mixed in there at some point.

We don’t want to spend too much time here on the lead-up — let’s go ahead and share the official Hawaii Five-0 season 10 episode 1 synopsis below:

“Ua ʻeha ka ʻili i ka maka o ka ihe” – A new ally helps McGarrett and Five-0 when mob bosses on the island are being targeted by an assassin. Also, Five-0 says goodbye to one of their own, on the 10^th season premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Sept. 27 at its new time (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Katrina Law joins the cast as Quinn Liu. Rob Morrow guest stars.

We understand fully that upon reading that synopsis, it would be interpreted that the “goodbye” is tied to the season 9 cliffhanger. That doesn’t have to be that way, and even if it does, it doesn’t have to happen in the way that you would expect. There is no compensating for a goodbye, but we are still interested in seeing what Law brings to the table. We know that she is fantastic in a lot of action sequences from some of her previous work, so she should prove to be a fantastic addition to the group. She could also add something new to the Five-0 mix, just as we saw when Junior and Tani first came into the show.

We know that at some point in the early going, Hawaii Five-0 season 10 will feature some scenes filmed in Los Angeles. That doesn’t mean it’s the premiere, though, as sometimes things are filmed out of order.
