Killjoys season 5 episode 7 preview: The search for The Lady’s real body
All in all, shouldn’t this be a rather-fun way to spend an episode of television? We like to think so! Before we do too much else, let’s go ahead and share the synopsis:
The team goes undercover on a Leithian military base to help find The Lady’s true body.
Once our heroes arrive to said base, what they’re going to realize is that it’s hardly what they thought it would be — at least in terms of behavior and activities. This, compounded with a billion or so other things, are going to make this mission rather difficult. Then again, we’re not sure that anyone ever imagined that this mission would be easy. Is it ever really with these people? We think that the short (or at least the short-ish) answer to that is no.
With us starting to close in on the finale, though, we expect that Dutch and company are going to need to act quickly in order to stabilize this crisis and inch ever closer to the thing that they so cover more so than all else — peace. You know, that rare opportunity to actually breathe in and out and realize that they maybe they can move forward despite all obstacles.
No matter where things go or how the final season ends, can’t we go ahead and say with some confidence that we’re going to miss this show? It’s hard not to when you consider everything that it’s brought to us over the years — think in terms of its sense of humor, adventure, and also its heart. Because of everything else it has, it does make the dramatic moments stand out all the greater.
