The nomination ceremony happened in the Big Brother 21 house earlier this evening, and if you did not know, this was a little bit of a different one than usual. While Holly had the ability to name one of her targets for eviction, Nick had the power to name another thanks to the America’s Prankster power that he received.
We assumed that Holly would nominate Nick, especially since Nick (amidst an argument with Christie, Holly, and Jackson) basically admitted that he would contemplate targeting someone from within Holly/Jackson if he got power. Jackson and Holly egged him and Christie on hoping to get enough fight, but they didn’t hit the same level as Taco Tuesday. They did still argue, mostly about whether or not there was any sort of safety deal prior the Head of Household Competition. Christie seemed to win the fight, mostly because Nick didn’t seem to care that much. He knew that he was going on the block, so for whatever reason he seems to think right now that his best path is going up and then winning the Veto.
In the end, here are some of the results for you from the big ceremony. Nick was nominated, and then Christie ended up being nominated, as well — obviously by Nick, who isn’t going to nominate himself. At the moment, nobody seems to know that Nick was the Prankster, as Holly and Jackson seem to be convinced that it was Nicole who was the responsible party in this. Holly and Jackson are both happy with these nominations — they wanted to nominate Christie anyway, but this way, they didn’t have to make the move directly.
