Big Brother 21 live feed spoilers: Who is America’s Prankster?

Big Brother

Last night on Big Brother 21Julie Chen announced the America’s Prankster twist, which allowed us the chance to vote one person to have the power to not only name one nominee, but also the replacement nominee depending on what happens with the Power of Veto.

At first, we expected this to go to either Nicole or Cliff, mostly because they have been the most likable contestants for most of the season. Yet, there also did emerge a really strong campaign to give Nick the power, largely because he could put Christie on the block or maybe even Jackson — and the idea of Nick getting it on Holly’s Head of Household would, beyond the shadow of a doubt, turn out to be hilarious. We still don’t think that it’s the greatest idea that he has it, mostly because 1) it’s hard to get behind the idea of him thinking that America loves him and 2) there’s always a chance that he nominates Jessica. Why would this be something that anyone within the game would prefer?

Anyhow, Nick was voted America’s Prankster, which he seems to already be grateful for. (Yes, we use the word “grateful” on purpose here. We think there’s a good chance that he nominates Christie, possibly because he will think that this is what America will want him to do based on what just happened with the Taco Tuesday fight. (It’s still weird that Nick, one of the more-disliked people still in the game, was given the power by America.)

The nomination ceremony should take place a little bit later today — no matter what happens there, the Prankster twist should at least set up a reasonable amount of chaos over the next few days so long as Nick doesn’t immediately spill the beans to people. With him, that’s something that we wouldn’t count out by any means.
