Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 3 episode 2: JWoww, Angelina fight

Did you know that tonight is the Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 3 premiere? It’s a weird thing to certainly think about. After all, we just had the season 2 finale next week!

Tonight’s “premiere” kicked off with some of the cast members moving into some very different parts of their lives. For The Situation, he had to prepare for a stint in prison. Meanwhile, Deena was becoming a mother for the first time, Snooki realized that she was pregnant, and Ronnie made the decision to seek out treatment in order to be a better person and a better father. It was a nice recognition on Ronnie’s part that everything within his life was toxic and he needed to make the necessary moves in order to turn it around. The ball was in his court to try and make something happen.

Moving forward this season, the top priority is going to be continuing to see just how some of these stories change — and also, presumably, how the show moves forward without Mike as a part of it. He will be back on the series in due time, but for now, the show must go on. (For those wondering, Mike has yet to be released from prison, but it could happen before too long — we’d be surprised if cameras weren’t there for the moment that he eventually gets out.)

In the preview that aired tonight for what’s next, it looks as though Ronnie will be leaving the retreat that he’s on. He doesn’t explain what happened there, other than saying that being there was “a lot.” Both Vinny and Pauly are aware, first and foremost, of the trouble that his relationship with Jen brings his way. We’ve already seen that Ronnie is going to do whatever Ronnie is going to do, and if you are one of the cast members, you’re probably aware of that at this point.

The longer that this season goes, the more intriguing it will be — after all, there will be opportunities to see a dynamic in the game that is totally new. Oh, and we’re going to see Angelina and JWoww go at it in a big argument soon.
