Big Brother 21: Prank Week twist; America’s Prankster vote open

Big Brother 21

We had a feeling that there could be something crazy announced during tonight’s Big Brother 21 episode, and it’s coming via Prank Week.

What is this? Well, this is a week full of interesting surprises, and Julie promised that it could impact both the live Head of Household competition tonight, but then also a lot of other stuff over the rest of the week. Aren’t pranks a part of Summer Camp? That’s clearly a part of what production is going for. (Ironically, there are plenty of pranks within the Big Brother house as it is.)

The first stage of Prank Week happened before the Head of Household Competition, as production convinced the players (including us) that this was going to be all about birdwatching. As it turns out, not so much. That was all a prank … and there are some more pranks coming up.

Holly ended up winning the next Head of Household reign and, because of that, she has the power, but not all of it. She will not have complete control of everything we move forward within the game now.

Also, Jessica, Nicole, and Cliff are going to be punished for doing terribly in the HoH Competition. We also know that there’s going to be an America’s Prankster twist.

This twist that is going to leave its mark on the game in some really interesting ways, as it will allow a houseguest the opportunity to dramatically impact the course of the week — think along the lines of being able to name a nominee and, from there, name a replacement nominee if the original nominee comes down. There’s no guarantee that they’ll get what they want, but it does make things a little bit more interesting.

If we had to predict one thing when it comes to the recipient of said power, we’d look towards Nicole and Cliff at the moment. These two people who have shown, time and time again, that they are among the most popular people among viewers at home. The vote will likely be revealed before nominations … at least if someone talks about it on the feeds. For us, we’re rooting for Nicole just because she hasn’t had any power before in the game.
