SEAL Team season 3 wraps filming in Serbia; cast come home

SEAL Team

Over the past couple of weeks, it’s been great to see the cast and crew for SEAL Team season 3 venturing out of their element. To be specific, we’ve seen all of them working and filming in Serbia. We’ve already posted what some of the story will be there, and it’s going to be exciting to watch that play out. These are characters who are used to traveling to different countries for missions, but it’s a little bit different for the actors. The bulk of the story for SEAL Team is filmed in the greater Los Angeles area, with the cast and crew transforming different places into other parts of the world.

Now, it seems like most of the cast is now back in the US once more! In some posts on Instagram, both David Boreanaz (Jason) and Toni Trucks (Davis) confirmed that they are back stateside after a long and sprawling trip. For Toni, it was even more eventful (not in a great way) because she was battling sickness for part of the journey.

Will we see the cast venture out of America again this season? It’s always possible, but we don’t think that this is ever going to become a show where the majority of the episodes are filmed overseas. That’s an expensive and exhausting endeavor, given that there are so many people who would have to be flown to other places and then put up in various hotels. There are also a ton of crew members who also need to get over there, so it’s not just about putting up the cast and having that be it.

New episodes of SEAL Team kick off this October, and structurally, we’re probably looking at more of the same — missions combined with heartfelt personal stories that also address some timely issues that are going on in the military community.
