Jersey Shore Family Vacation video: Mike’s wedding speech
In the new video that CarterMatt has for you below, you can see some of the guys do their part to prepare for Mike’s wedding in the best way that they possibly can — by getting set to give a speech. Here’s the problem with that — this can’t be the same sort of R-rated stuff that they come up with at the Jersey Shore or at some of their other familiar hangs. This is meant to actually be emotionally-poignant and meaningful. Mike’s getting married to the woman he loves, and he and Lauren are going to have a lot of family there — people who are separate from the reality TV persona. That’s what makes this wedding such a mishmash — it’s not just full of people who are used to being on television. We’re sure that there were some family gatherings in private, but this one is big, public, and probably crazy.
Watching Ronnie try to come up with a coherent speech makes for some comedy gold, and then there’s the idea of a dance that he, Pauly D, and Vinny are going to have to come up with. The funniest part of this is seeing Pauly shout that someone needs to get Vinny some carbs when he starts screwing up his part in the routine. Ronnie notes that he’s more nervous about the speech than anything else, which makes us think that he should’ve just gone on Dancing with the Stars when The Situation did. We’d actually make a case for Pauly to be on the next Dancing with the Stars season — he knows music already and this would allow him to appeal to a totally new audience.
Be prepared for tonight’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation to run two hours. There are some hard times coming for Mike via his prison sentence, but there’s a little bit of fun coming beforehand.
