The InBetween episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Cassie takes on Ed Roven

Next week, The InBetween episode 10 is going to air on NBC and with that, we’ve got the most important story of the season. This is, after all, the big finale! This is when most of the stories for this season are going to come to a head, and that includes someone who has been a part of this story for much of it from start to finish — Ed Roven. The character is going to rear his head in a big way coming up, and that’s just something that Cassie is going to have to deal with. For much of the season, we’ve seen her do her part in order to put him both out of sight and also out of mind. That’s not something that is going to be possible anymore.

Cassie may not like it, but Ed is going to be the way in which she can get answers to everything that is on her mind.

08/14/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Tom and Damien investigate the murder of a young schoolteacher, only to discover that her killer is someone very close to home. Cassie realizes that she must deal with Ed Roven once and for all. TV-14 V

Will this season end with a sense of closure? We’re hoping/expecting that to be the case, especially since there is zero confirmation at the moment that there will be a season 2 on the other side. With The InBetween currently drawing a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, we’re not altogether optimistic — though there may still be a small reasons for some here. What is it? Think along the lines of DVR performance and streaming. This is also a show that is somewhat procedural in nature and it may be able to build some sort of audience over time.

For the time being, we’d just say to not think too much about the long-term future of The InBetween. Just enjoy the finale for what it is and if there’s something more down the line, maybe we’ll get more.
