‘Saturday Night Live’: Bruno Mars previews hosting, performing gig
This weekend, it is finally Bruno Mars’ time to shine. Anytime you are the host of “Saturday Night Live,” it is something that can lead to you having all sorts of pressure put on you to succeed, and to not be mocked rigorously the next day by just about everyone on the internet. So to do this and to be the musical guest, let’s just say that you have to have a giant set of brass balls.
So why did Bruno really want to sign up for this, of course outside of getting the opportunity to promote his new “Locked Out of Heaven” single? Let’s just say that it was something that he has wanted to do for almost as long as he has been alive. Speaking before the show in an interview with NBCUniversal Direct, he also gave a brief tease that there could be some major shockers in store for everyone who happens to tune in to the show:
“It’s everyone’s dream. You grow up watching the show and it’s so beautiful; I can’t believe I am here. Expect the unexpected; you haven’t heard that one before huh?”
Meanwhile, Mars also threw some major praise on the “SNL” crew, who has to be one of the most productive ones out there courtesy of their ability to really throw together a production in an incredibly short period of time:
“They have this one week to put a show together, so you really just pull nothing into something.”
What do you think Bruno’s prospects are for putting on a good show at the moment, especially when you consider the losing streak that the show is on at this present moment?
