‘American Idol’ notes: Jessica Sanchez’s new music video; Keith Urban rumors

For our Saturday edition of “American Idol” notes, we are largely keeping things light in order to focus on just a pair of stories: one is exciting, whereas the other may reflect the current sad state of affairs behind the scenes at the Fox reality hit.

The music video – First and foremost, though, it only seems right to start things off with the new music video courtesy of one of the most-popular former contestants out there at the moment in Jessica Sanchez, as well as yet another reminder as to what her voice will sound life after she has spent some time in the studio.

In the box below, you can see Sanchez team up with one of the members of the Black Eyed Peas in apl.de.ap for his new music video to “Jump In.” Even though this is not one of her official songs off of her upcoming release, it does show us that she is more than capable of not just making some good dance music, but of having a little bit of fun in the process. This video was produced while Jessica was in the Philippines along with apl.de.ap, who also is of Filipino heritage.

Does Keith Urban want out already? – As for our other major story at the moment, it is one we are skeptical about as one of the show’s judges for the new season is Urban may already want out. Why? He doesn’t like being stuck between two forces on the judging panel in Mariah Carey in Nicki Minaj.

Given that the National Enquirer is the source here, it’s really pretty easy to respond to shi with a simple “yeah, right.” However, you do have to remember in here that Urban is probably unhappy that he is constantly surrounded by drama … even if that may not be enough alone to make him want to leave a show that is paying him money and giving him great exposure. At the moment, we’re filing this one under “not true.”
