Who killed Bryce Walker? 13 Reasons Why season 3 trailer raises question

13 Reasons Why season 2

There is so much to get to in this article regarding 13 Reasons Why season 3, but let’s start with this: Bryce Walker is dead. We can’t call this a secret or a spoiler, given that Netflix is promoting their ENTIRE SEASON all around it. The last time we heard about Bryce he basically got no punishment for the assaults and his parents were going to transfer him to another school – now this!

The “trailer” actually doesn’t feel like a trailer so much as just a series of super-stylized sequences that give you a sense of emotionally, where some of these characters are at. Eventually you see a coffin and it’s clear that Justin Prentice’s character lies within it as they have a memorial photo of him standing by it. His death will serve as a jumping-off point to everything else that transpires. We gotta admit that the end scene of the casket makes all of this feel like some sort of bizarre Pretty Little Liars remake.

For some more details about the rest of the story for season 3, we suggest taking a look at the synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

Eight months after preventing Tyler from committing an unthinkable act at Spring Fling, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin, and Zach find ways to shoulder the burden of the cover-up together while helping Tyler move toward recovery. But when the aftermath of a tumultuous Homecoming game culminates in the disappearance of a football player, and Clay finds himself under police scrutiny, it’s up to a shrewd outsider to steer the group through an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone’s deepest secrets. The stakes are raised in this riveting third season of 13 Reasons Why, as the consequences of even the most well-intended actions can alter a life forever.

13 Reasons Why is premiering season 3 on August 23, but this isn’t the only news that we’ve got for you within…

Season 4 is a go

Today, Netflix confirmed that there is another season coming, but it will be the final one. Nothing about this should be considered a surprise given that high-school shows have a limited shelf life, even ones like this that are considered to be so successful/controversial. Season 4 could premiere as early as in 2020. We’ve come a long ways from the days of Hannah and there could be more shocking content still to come.

Now, we want to turn things over to you — what do you think about 13 Reasons Why being renewed for a third season, and about season 4 being the final one at Netflix? Be sure to share in the comments below. (Photo: Netflix.)
