The InBetween episode 9 preview: The Ed Roven connection
If you want to know more news in terms of what’s coming up, let’s just start off by saying this: One of the most terrifying ghosts of the past could be coming back. It’s one thing for Ed Roven to be coming to Cassie here and there from the InBetween in order to pollute her mind and create chaos. It’s another altogether to feel like this guy is now suddenly involved in some incidents that are happening within the present. This is throwing yet another layer of terror into what is already a pretty chaotic and terrifying story. We’re in the midst of stuff within The InBetween here that is supernatural, but also has a layer of horror within real life. The two forces collide and that is what makes a lot of these stories so compelling when the dust settles.

08/07/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Cassie (Harriet Dyer), Tom (Paul Blackthorne) and Damien (Justin Cornwell) investigate the cold case disappearance of Millie (guest star, Berkeley Ratzlaff) and soon realize that her disappearance may involve an old acquaintance, Ed Roven (recurring guest star, Sean Bolger). Within this episode, we’re stoked to have a chance to see some more backstory on a few different parts of this world, but beyond that, maybe also see one central story that connects a lot of the central characters with a unified goal. We’re getting closer to the end of the season and when you consider that, it does make certain parts of the storytelling more imperative. Take, for example, establishing higher stakes, or presenting characters that we have even more reasons to legitimately fear. We’ll be at the end of this season before long, and we have to accept that it could also be the end of the series.
