Queen of the South season 4 episode 9 promo: Teresa’s morality
In the video that CarterMatt has for you below for Thursday’s new episode, you can see Teresa questioning whether or not she can put another family in danger for the sake of protecting her own. The idea of morality with this character is a questionable concept in the first place. She’s someone running a drug empire and because of that, the easy assumption to make here is that she is someone who will say or do anything. That’s not entirely the case, but when her back is pushed against the wall, she will fight. That’s what she is going to do here as the character prepares to show off the most ruthless side of herself that we’ve had a chance to see this season.
Is this going to surpass the greatness of what we’ve seen in the past? That’s the investiable thing about seasons of this show, one that does have a Big Bad construct and different challenges and struggles year after year. We know that there are a lot of people who are going to compare what’s going on within New Orleans to what happened with Camila last season. Which one is going to be stronger in the end? We don’t even think that you can fully compare this season to others yet when we’re not even at the end of it just yet.
Also, there is another thing to consider at the moment — we don’t even know if Teresa is going to stick around in New Orleans. In addition to formulating a strategy in this episode to determine where her future lies, there’s another thing that she’s gotta figure out as well — where she wants to be. At a certain point, maybe she’ll wonder if it is better to cut ties … or if her business is going to end up sending her elsewhere. We’re in the home stretch of the season and whatever decisions that she makes will create seismic shocks around the rest of the story. That includes entering a possible season 5.
